I’m Meghan MacPherson, a Registered Counselling Therapist-Candidate (RCT-C) with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists (NSCCT) and a professional member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). I am completing my candidacy under the supervision of Lorraine Keating, RCT. Learn more about the NSCCT’s Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics, and Complaints Process.
I work with clients aged 12 and older who are ready to make meaningful changes in their personal well-being, relationships, or work. My practice is grounded in humanism, approached through an intersectional lens, and focused on helping you uncover the tools you already have to navigate life and reach your fullest potential.
I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to support growth in areas such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, self-esteem, stress, life transitions, and more.
I provide a safe, confidential, and nonjudgmental space and have experience working with LGBTQIA2S+, IBPOC, and neurodivergent communities. I will always defer to you as the expert of your own life.
If you’re ready to explore, grow, and forge your path, I warmly invite you to connect today.
